Entitled "Ecology-based Landscape Design: What Comes Next?" their 30th anniversary program will illustrate how an expanded definition of āecological designā including contributions from garden history, agroecology, anthropology, social justice, art, and of course the ecological sciencesācan yield environmentally sound, yet culturally connected landscapes.
